Day 1: Travel to Murchison Falls National Park + Visit to the Top of the Falls

  • 7:00 AM: Pickup from your hotel in Kampala by our professional driver-guide, followed by a short safari briefing. Begin the 6-hour scenic drive northwest to Murchison Falls.

  • Mid-morning stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking - a unique chance to see white rhinos on foot in a protected area.

  • Continue the journey with a lunch stop in Masindi town.

  • After lunch, proceed to the park entrance and drive toward the Top of the Falls. Along the way, look out for baboons, warthogs, and other wildlife.

  • At the top, enjoy breathtaking views as the Nile forces itself through an 8-meter-wide gorge, creating the thunderous Murchison Falls—perfect for photos and nature lovers.

  • Evening: Head to your lodge, check in, relax, enjoy dinner, and overnight.

Day 2: Game Drive & Nile Boat Cruise to the Base of the Falls

  • 6:30 AM: Early breakfast at the lodge.

  • 7:00 AM: Begin a morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile. Look out for elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, antelopes, hartebeests, and countless bird species.

  • 11:30 AM: Return to the lodge to freshen up and have lunch.

  • 2:00 PM: Head for the afternoon boat cruise along the Victoria Nile toward the base of the falls.

    • Spot hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and aquatic birds like kingfishers, bee-eaters, and possibly the Shoebill.

    • Enjoy stunning views as the boat reaches the base of Murchison Falls.

  • Optional: Hike to the top of the falls for panoramic views and meet your driver at the top for the return to the lodge.

  • Evening: Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive & Return to Kampala

  • 7:00 AM: Enjoy breakfast at the lodge.

  • Depart for another game drive en route out of the park. Catch early-morning wildlife such as giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, and possibly predators like lions and leopards.

  • Exit the park and stop in Masindi for lunch.

  • Arrive back in Kampala in the evening, where your guide will drop you off at your hotel or preferred location.
